Addison is sick : (

Hi,

This is Addison's granny. I am not good with this technology but let me start by explaining why I am writing on the blog instead of Melissa.

Addison started running a fever Thursday. Her temperature continued to go up so Melissa and Casey took off for ETMC in Tyler Thursday evening. Poor Addi had blood tests, a catheter, an IV and a spinal tap. It was all very hard for her parents to watch . Melissa said she felt so helpless watching her daughter in pain and not being able to help her. Long story short, there is an infection in her system and they are trying to confirm the location of the infection. The pediatrician suspects a urinary tract infection but is not 100 percent sure. Until the cultures come back, Addison will be in the hospital. The doctor said it would be Sunday or Monday before the results come back from the lab.
