On the airplane headed to Florida. What you guys cant see is my mom beside me totally freaking out!! :P

Well we are home from Florida. It was a fun trip but we learned a lot. We flew on a twin engine Cessna. That was not too bad but don't ask my mom about it. She freaked out royally. Addi did awesome on the plane. The engine was loud and the plane sort of vibrated so she slept the whole time. Her ears hurt a little but she did REALLY well. We really thought that we could take Addison to the beach and put her under a beach umbrella and all would be fine. The sun was so strong and the photophobia is so bad that those two factors do not go together. A local, told my mom that we were only 350 miles from the Equator......well that explains the sun being so strong. It was so intense, that I got a mild sunburn the second day of the trip by just sitting by the glass window. sooo.. needless to say Addi and I stayed in the room a lot and just enjoyed the scenery. We brought her sunglasses and hats to protect her, but it was still just too bright. We put her in her stoller and covered the tops, but then she got to hot. The second day we were there i had meme overnight her sling thinking she could sit in that in her diaper and not get to hot and stay out of the sun.. and that worked for the most part.

We ate out a lot and the food was good............ but not as good as the 2 meals we had at Aunt Patti's house!! We went over there twice and she came to the resort and saw us as well. We really enjoyed visiting with them. Casey played golf with Uncle Hershal 2 or 3 times. He said he was the best golfer he had ever played with!! It was a very relaxing trip!!

Mom and Dad took Addison so I could get out some, but of course those are the days that were over cast and rainy! All in all it was a good trip but next time, I hope we go somewhere cold so we can ski!!!
